Deirdre Kraimer has over 30 years of experience in global clinical development.
She began her career at Pfizer with responsibility for phase 1-4 clinical trials for multiple pharmaceutical therapy areas. For Pfizer she established the clinical operations division in Latin America and expanded the programs in Asia, in addition to managing the ongoing US and European clinical research functions.
She continued her career at Astellas heading Global Study Management across multiple therapy areas.
Prior to joining gmp-orphan, Deirdre was the Vice President of Global Clinical Development at Smith & Nephew with responsibility globally for trials with orthopedic, endoscopic and trauma medical devices.
She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and from Brown University with a Masters in Biology.
